Sustainable Investment Approaches Enhancing the Decentralization of Corporate Governance across Worldwide Communities |Chapter 2 | Contemporary Research in Business, Management and Economics Vol. 6

The manuscript delves into sustainable investment approaches enhancing the decentralization of corporate governance across worldwide communities. The worldwide network of economies and societies is still growing as a result of the digital industrial revolution. However, challenges related to sustainability, like disruption and climate change, have gotten worse. The involvement of multiple stakeholders is essential in addressing challenges related to sustainability in international communities. It is anticipated that multi-stakeholder cooperative and competitive schemes will be used to build sustainable communities. Sustainable global communities must reform centralized economies with top-down systems and must move toward decentralized mechanisms known as bottom-up societies. Sustainable investment strategies to support the environment, society and governance (ESG) presumably improve social welfare. This article describes that multi-stakeholders can introduce a decentralized incentive scheme into global economies and can provide mathematical expressions of sustainable investment strategies. The decentralized formulation described herein is used to evaluate the improvement of ESG initiatives by the decrease of social welfare losses. The formulation states mathematically relative relations among the investment strategies. This mathematical model explores the social welfare effects of initiatives to enhance standards, regulations, and legislation. Empirically, one finds that integration strategies have grown remarkably as a core part of social institutional reform for sustainability. It has been concluded that efforts to enhance social evaluation by those left out of market transactions significantly reduce losses to social welfare. These results may encourage efforts to lessen the disruption challenges that local communities encounter. The results presented herein are expected to be applicable for various global crises. Initiatives by which ESG can solve global crises consistently will be pursued in further research in this field.

The Contribution of Internal Audit Diamond Model in Preventing Fraud and Corruption | Chapter 6| Business, Management and Economics: Research Progress Vol. 6

Internal audit is a powerful policy tool in the private and public sectors that enhances sound financial management of organizations and ensures their sustainability by preventing fraudulent actions. The success of its implementation is focused on a multitude of factors concerning the internal environment in which it operates as well as the evolving dynamic external environment. Methodologically, the paper is based on the Internal Audit Standards and provides a systematic literature review. The theoretical model, known as the 'Diamond Model', developed four main pillars of internal audit effectiveness: inputs (budget, staffing, internal auditors’ adequacy, digital assets), outputs (audit reports, recommendations, assurance services, consulting services), processes (planning, execution, reporting, follow-up), and internal audit relationships with all stakeholders (senior management, audit committee, auditees, external auditors). Those pillars are constrained by time, quality, quantity, and cost. The research results illuminate key aspects of internal audit effectiveness in terms of sustainable governance with emphasis on ESG criteria. The research novelty is evident in the practical usage of the Diamond Model which serves as an innovative tool for sound governance improving internal processes and operations, monitoring compliance with policies, laws, and regulations, aligning the objectives of the organization with its mission, preventing fraud and corruption, and finally adding value to the organization and improve performance of its operations.

Corporate Financial Strategy in the Energy Transition: Investment, Risk, and Policy Frameworks | Chapter 3 | New Advances in Business, Management and Economics Vol. 6

Corporate finance strategies play an important part in this transformation, providing a link between existing energy practices and a more sustainable future. The shift toward sustainable energy requires a significant transformation in corporate financial strategies, particularly in the allocation of capital for renewable energy projects. The aim of this study is to explore the critical financial considerations influencing the transition, including investment mechanisms, the cost of capital, and risk mitigation strategies. Green bonds and sustainability-linked loans are two crucial factors that corporations in the energy sector increasingly rely on to raise capital for renewable energy projects. These instruments offer financial incentives for organisations to meet sustainability targets, lowering borrowing costs and ultimately enhancing corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance. Many corporations have been known for entering joint ventures and strategic partnerships by which they share financial risks and leverage complementary expertise. By leveraging these adaptive financial approaches, corporations are able to better navigate the evolving energy landscape and ensure long-term sustainability.

ESG established the perspective of responsible finance in the financial industry endure not only be concerned by financial financiers. Due to the needs of financing, enterprises further need to take ESG as a real resourcefulness strategy and carry out "granulation" exercise. In view of this perspective, this paper proposes to guide the crucial map and combine the three elements of larger object of ESG with the balanced reference book to achieve the landing of ESG in activities and promote the enhancement of allied social responsibility. This paper applies based theory analysis, content analysis and concept study to analyze ESG \ equalized scorecard and strategic graph, and combines strategic graph with ESG theory to build ESG belief to truly integrate allied social responsibility into energy management in responsible money.
