Discovering the Functions of Media Access Control (MAC) Address over the Wired Public IP Network | Chapter 6 | Research Updates in Mathematics and Computer Science Vol. 7

Does the MAC address have any functions in the Public network? A Media Access Control Address (MAC Address) is a unique number assigned to a Network interface controller (NIC) card of a Personal Computer (PC) or Server or Router or Firewall or any other devices attached to Private or Public wired Network segments. MAC address indicates only the device's LAN or NIC card and the NIC card primarily holds the Internet Protocol (IP) address [1]. This paper differentiates each function of MAC address (not MAC card or LAN card, LAN card is essential for Networking) and IP address and describes their scopes of work and limitations.

Bandwidth Management in Routers for the DHCP Protocol: Reviewing the Best | Chapter 6 | Science and Technology: Developments and Applications Vol. 9

The terms "Bandwidth" and "Data rate" are frequently used interchangeably in the field of telecommunications, which can make things somewhat unclear at times. Bandwidth Management with Static IP is much easier than the DHCP Protocol. Without a Wi-Fi router, in DHCP, the IP changes when the main system (Router) is powered on every time, and the Bandwidth associated with the previous IP also changes. This paper describes the problems and techniques of the previously described two papers and has tried to solve the Bandwidth distribution process during the system's operation in DHCP. It has been found that though Routers operate on IPs, it seems logical, but costly and experimentally very hard to implement, and Bandwidth management for the DHCP Protocol needs a manageable Switch for binding MAC addresses with Bandwidth segments of each device on its ports. In conclusion, DHCP protocol has much more difficulty with IP conflict issues, but also has the advantage also in adding devices without giving it an IP. Bandwidth management in static Routers and in static switches is much easier than DHCP.

MAC Address Cloning Technique Results | Chapter 8 | Contemporary Perspective on Science, Technology and Research Vol. 2

Desktop computer address cloning causes the Docker canister to use the MAC address of the host, and the host to use the MAC address of either an address you designate or a randomly produce one. Desktop computer filtering is not an effective hole or door in vessel wireless socializing for professional or personal gain as attackers cannot search easily Desktop computer address on wireless transmissions mode. In another way, in a wired network, Desktop computer filtering everything better since it is simpler for an aggressor to determine an certified MAC address. All LAN sheet has a unique MAC address assigned to it. In this way, Changeful MAC address should in network virtualization. It can also be used while exploiting freedom of a system. By replicating MAC address makes individual device unseen from outsider, similarly cloning MAC address form a network vulnerable. It is main to choice who wants commotion what. In IP networks, the MAC address of an interface is query likely the IP address using the Address Judgment Protocol (ARP) for Computer network Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) or the Neighbor Finding Protocol (NDP) for IPv6. ARP and NDP are used to pertain IP addresses (OSI layer 3) to Ethernet Desktop computer addresses (OSI layer 2). Security maybe enhanced through Desktop computer address cloning cause it enables you to use a loyal virtual NIC for the Admin Network, Grid Network, and Customer Network. Having the Docker capsule use the MAC address of the loyal NIC on the host allows you to avoid utilizing promiscuous style network configurations.

miRNA and Cancer| Chapter 16 | New Frontiers in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 15

MicroRNAs are small non-coding RNA molecules that play a key function in gene control. Translational repression and even cancer can result from issues with miRNA biogenesis. MicroRNAs can function as tumour suppressors or oncogenes. The function of microRNAs is influenced by a variety of circumstances. A network of oncogenes, microRNAs, and tumour suppressor genes (TSG) has an impact on not only normal cellular processes but also tumorigenesis. Thus, a better understanding of the regulatory variables and network can aid in the re-discovery of therapeutic targets in cancer.

Investigating the Characterization of Energy Availability in RF Energy Harvesting Networks | Chapter 1 | Theory and Practice of Mathematics and Computer Science Vol. 3

In this work, we concentrate primarily on the characterization of each harvester's RF power and its effect in terms of the likelihood of accumulating enough energy to transmit a packet. The multiple Radio Frequency ( RF) Energy Harvesting Network (RF-EHN) nodes have the ability to transform electromagnetic RF signals obtained into energy that can be used to power the energy harvester (the network device). Traditionally, high-power transmitters (e.g., base stations) working in the harvesters' neighbourhood provide RF signals. RF energy harvesting has recently attracted a lot of attention and many efforts are being made to develop new RF energy harvesting technologies as well as to evaluate the performance of the harvesting system networks. We begin by characterising the distribution of the RF power obtained by an energy harvester node by accepting that the transmitters are spatially distributed according to a spatial Poisson process. We demonstrate that the obtained RF power can be approximated by the sum of several Gamma distributions with different scale and shape parameters, considering Gamma shadowing and Rayleigh fading. Using the distribution of the obtained RF power, after a given period of charging time, we derive the probability of a node having enough energy to send a packet. Via simulation, the RF power distribution and the probability of a harvester having enough energy to transmit a packet are validated. With the proposed analysis, the numerical results obtained are similar to those obtained by simulation, which confirms the precision of the proposed analysis.
