Aesthetic and Clinical Parameters for Immediate Implant Placement | Chapter 07 | Issues and Development in Health Research Vol. 8

 The goal of this project is to conduct a literature study and offer a case report on the use of autograft in immediate implant temporization in the aesthetic area. As technology, science, and industry have progressed, the breadth of implant-based rehabilitation has reduced. As the need for aesthetic perfection rises, this procedure, known as implant with instant temporization (TIPP), is one of the themes being addressed today. The fact that growing bone size causes anterior bone atrophy and nutrition in this location is limited jeopardises this aesthetic. TIPP use is influenced by a variety of parameters, including implant type, bone quality and quantity, primary stability, occlusion, gingival biotype, bony gap walls, gap filler material, prosthetic platform used, and prosthesis type. A prolonged endodontic damage, bone loss in surrounding walls, and a shift pin were detected in the patient to be evaluated unit 22. The recommended treatment was shown to generate satisfactory results in the short term. A recession is an imminent technique, according to the literature. A connective graft should be used in patients with a thin biotype. This appears to have an effect on achieving aesthetically pleasing rehabilitation by promoting healthy gingival architecture. However, finding techniques to decrease buccal recession will require a longer study and follow-up. The type of prosthesis used, as well as the prosthetic platform. A prolonged endodontic damage, bone loss in surrounding walls, and a shift pin were detected in the patient to be evaluated unit 22. The recommended treatment was shown to provide satisfactory results in the short term.

Reporting a Case with Literature Review on Enucleation of a Giant Prostatic Hyperplasia in Ghana | Chapter 3 | Challenges in Disease and Health Research Vol. 6

 We present a case of a patient with prostatic hyperplasia weighing exactly 700 g who underwent Pfannesteil Transvesical Simple Prostatectomy at the Brong Ahafo Regional Hospital in Ghana. A massive prostatic hyperplasia is extremely rare, with only ten cases previously reported to the best of our knowledge. To effectively address the risk of haemorrhage, we recommend the technique of catheter balloon inflation at the base of an enucleated prostate with 6-hour traction and continuous bladder irrigation to stop bleeding in large and vascular prostates. The case presented here is the eleventh heaviest prostate reported.
