Driving Superior Customer Service in Indian Petro Retail through RFID Innovation | Chapter 9 | Business, Management and Economics: Research Progress Vol. 6

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing RFID technology to enhance customer identification, personalization, and satisfaction at a fuel retail outlet. To explore this, an RFID solution was deployed at a live fuel station in Delhi over a six-month period from January to June 2022. The system collected real-time data on customer interactions and behaviors, which formed the basis for the analysis. The results demonstrate that RFID technology brings considerable benefits by streamlining customer identification, increasing operational efficiency, and improving both customer acquisition and retention, all of which are key drivers of revenue growth.

One of the standout findings is that 74.5% of customers reported heightened satisfaction due to the RFID system’s automatic identification features. Personalized interactions, such as digital greetings and real-time fueling confirmations sent via SMS, played a major role in elevating the customer experience. This study is distinct in its application of RFID technology to the Indian petro retail market, focusing on how it transforms not only operational processes but also the overall customer journey. While RFID has been previously explored for identification purposes, this research highlights its broader potential to enrich customer engagement and satisfaction in the fueling sector.

Design of Smart Vehicle to Detect Unauthorized Access and Theft Detection | Chapter 9 | Theory and Applications of Engineering Research Vol. 6

In the current global context, security of cars in public parking lots, in particular, has become a major concern. With the use of global positioning system (GPS) and global system for mobile communication (GSM) technology, this system enforces simple and affordable vehicle following. the majority of the system's components, including the RFID reader, IR sensor, GPS module, GSM modem, and microprocessor. The purpose of the GPS system is to track the vehicle's location. While the GPS system is the only one that receives vehicle location data from satellites, the GSM system is also installed in the car to provide data to the owner of the vehicle. In the event that the car needs to be towed or breaks open, this method automatically sends an SMS with a speedometer.

RFID Attendance System Using Node MCU | Chapter 8 | Advances and Challenges in Science and Technology Vol. 4

Most extensively and currently adopted technology in any of industries, including conveyance, education, agriculture, sell sales, animal husbandry and so forth is RFID Technology. In order to create system for monitoring attendance in actual time for action or event that can be accessible by lecturers, dorm management, and parents, RFID in instruction is used in collaboration accompanying IoT as well as cloud technologies. If skilled are any absent juniors, the monitoring system will contain fast detection, prompt remediation, and efficient knowledge.

A Study on an Enhanced Traffic Control System for Road Vehicles Using Raspberry Pi | Chapter 1 | Advances and Challenges in Science and Technology Vol. 4

The experience's population is increasing by every day, so as the state grows, so are the number of buses on the road. Managing traffic is becoming more difficult for those administrative of traffic. The traffic is high at the intersections, that is causing extra questions for emergency jeeps such as ambulances, fire appliances, and police jeeps. The traffic on the roads results in time wasted and a rise in dirtiness levels. Previously, magnetic loop detectors were used to control traffic, but now we exploit RFID tags for emergency tools and RFID readers at intersections. The traffic signal system is controlled using Raspberry Pi, RFID tags for danger vehicles, and RFID readers at traffic intersections, in addition to a dynamic color change invention.
