Longitudinal Structure Function and Parton Distributions in the Light of Self-similarity | Chapter 8 | Current Perspective to Physical Science Research Vol. 2

Study of parton distributions utilizing the notion of self-likeness was first proposed roughly two decades before. The belief of self-similarity has happened well explored to interpret the internal construction of proton and gives a new insight to understand parton distributions. In this member, longitudinal makeup function FL(x, Q2) is evaluated inside this approach phenomenologically. Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) based approximate connections between the longitudinal construction function and the parton distributions have been secondhand in our present study. It is found that the Altarelli-Martinelli equating for the longitudinal structure function cannot be secondhand in Model I because of the closeness of a singularity in the Bjorken x-scope. The quantitative in addition to qualitative analyses concerning this relation in Model I is so limited. Cooper-Sarkar and others relation, in another way, has been successfully secondhand in both Model I and Model II to judge FL(x, Q2). The qualitative characteristic of the indicator of Model II has been noticed to be in good agreement accompanying the QCD expectation.

Dependence of the Yukawa Potential on the Distance between Nucleons | Chapter 5 | Progress in Chemical Science Research Vol. 7

The reliance of the strong interaction 'tween a neutron and a proton on the distance between them was calculated for the first time. Presented results contravene the general approved in nuclear and high - strength physics that strong force does not take action leptons. Our non - accelerator exploratory results made it admitted to determine not only the binding energy of a neutron accompanying an electron equals 0.105 eV , but still the maximum possible worth of the strong interaction coupling determined equal to 2.4680.

Charmonium and Bottomonium Quark State Production via Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions: A Review | Chapter 1 | Research Trends and Challenges in Physical Science Vol.3

This paper examines the generation of heavy quark states in RHIC via relativistic heavy ion collisions. The heavy quarks are c, the charm quark, and b, the bottom quark, in this case. Charmonium meson states (nS) with n=1,2 and upsilon meson states Y(mS) with m=1,2,3 are the states. The approach of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) sum rules is another nonperturbative theory that we used in our review of mixed hybrid heavy quark mesons. The result that the (2S) and Y(3S) are mixed hybrid states with increased production cross sections was obtained using QCD sum rules. We also go through the (nS) and Y(mS) production cross sections via Cu-Cu and Au-Au collisions, which are crucial for understanding how heavy quark states are produced in RHIC. The possibility of detecting Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) is also discussed.
