Energy Drinks: A Public Health Perspective | Chapter 11 | Research Highlights in Disease and Health Research Vol. 8

 The aim concerning this study is to determine the potential risks of using strength drinks (EDs) by athletes and exercisers. To realize this, we assess the use and the level of knowledge of the buyers as unawareness can cause perilous behaviors. Furthermore, an study is being conducted on the proper community health protection measures. A expressly designed inquiry was used for this study. There were 234 players and exercisers in the sample. In order to be accepted, parties must complete a training meeting once all seven days. The level of consumption calculated (35.5%) is in accordance with the information. Advertising is the main source of information (69.2%), although it does not guarantee reliable news. Consequently, while exercisers and athletes trust they have sufficient understanding on the subject (91.2%), really this is not accurate (the information score is 10.12/18). Due to their lack of awareness, a large number of ruling class are combining strength drinks with intoxicating, which is a dangerous activity. It has happened strongly urged that better public education (96.6%) in addition to more information on brand labels (94.8%) should be achieved in order to handle Eds issues. Additionally, 61.5% of accused suggested that skilled should be limits on EDs advertising. In conclusion, it is clear that the majority of the culture supports the implementation of laws that limit the amount of basic ingredients of ED.
